The E³.WireWorks Essentials training teaches the basics of electrical schematic design but also offers in-depth knowledge on working with an intelligent library and leveraging it for panel and cable documentation. Attendees will come out of this course with an intimate knowledge of the core functionality and will have a good sense of how to push this electrical design tool to the next level.

Prerequisites:
- Familiarity with the electrical design and electrical terminology
- Experience with the Windows™ operating system.
After the training you will be able to:
- Create electrical schematics and generate reports
- Create electrical panel design drawings
- Create cable designs and sub-circuits
- Link with SolidWorks for a complete electrical design system

Day 1: Introduction and Schematics
- Lesson 1: E3 Overview, Projects, Sheets, Navigation
- Lesson 2: Working with symbols and devices
- Lesson 3: Connections, Signals, Cross References
Day 2: Schematics and Introduction to Cabling and Panel
- Lesson 4: Reports, Attributes, Sub-circuits, Free Graphics, Terminal Plans, Exporting and Importing
- Lesson 5: Blocks, Connectors, Mating Connectors
- Lesson 7: SolidWorks Bridge, 3D Routing, Cross Highlighting
- Lesson 8: Introduction to Panel Design
Day 3: Library Setup
- Lesson 1: Creating Symbols, Pins, Attributes, Titleblocks
- Lesson 2: Creating Components, Multiple Symbols, Component Images?
- Lesson 3: Creating Cables, Wires, Connectors
- Lesson 4: Terminals, Attributes, Database behavior
- Lesson 5: Creating models for panel layout
